8 plagues and a Song.
This last Sunday we had a lot of fun.
We told all of your SG Kids about when God had to send the ten plaques on Egypt in order to free His people. Our main point was, “I Obey God because I Love him.”
While I was telling the story of the ten plagues, I got a little over excited (as I often do) and I kept forgetting where I was, what plague I was on ect… The amazing thing was is that any time I forgot what I was talking about or which one I was on, one of your kids would yell out the right spot, the right information, and even the right verse!
It was pretty amazing to see that YOUR kids know the bible so well that they could not only keep up with their Pastor (Me) but could help me along the way!
Good job parents.
Another really cool thing that happened this last Sunday was a carry over from the Sunday before.
The Sunday before, the first Sunday of our current series “On the Trail”, we had about 5 hands go up excepting Jesus into their hearts for the first time. Two of those hands were brothers. It was great.
But what was even cooler is that the next Sunday these brothers showed back up to church, and not only were they excited to be back and to learn more about the story of Moses, they had actually taken the memory verse from the week before and turned it into a song so that they could remember it.
The first thing that they did when they saw me at church was to sing me that song.
I wish you could have been there.
We are having such a good time in the Watering Hole. Your kids have been great. We have so much more planned for them, that I can hardly wait to do it all…. but I’m going to… I don’t want to ruin all the surprises!
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you , pray for you or just be there to listen.
I pray for you, the parents of our SG Kids, everyday.
Your doing a great job with your kids and grand kids.
